For Milena international education, as well as the strong desire to serve a community and to work in the multicultural environment, is definitely the sphere she has been passionate from the school age.

Milena has graduated Kazakh-German University in Almaty, Kazakhstan with the degree in Political and Social Sciences. Along with this, Milena has the diploma of Teacher-Librarian (Moscow, Russia) and the certificate of Translator of fiction / non-fiction writing.

She began her path in education as an interpreter and an organizer of the educational fairs as the part of ACCELS Project on the voluntary basis.

At that time, she has also participated in the UN Models, led some Book Club sessions in American Corner Almaty and got her articles published in the local magazine for teachers / author platforms. Being interested in human rights, Milena has also completed the School of Civic Education.

One of her happiest moments in career was the organization of the Musical Tour for the big group of teachers and students from Gordonstoun School (Moray, Scotland) to Kazakhstan. It was the bright moment when Milena realized she would love dedicate herself to international education.

Milena is happy to work in the library of KIS where she has grown up so much professionally and individually in a supportive and inspirational team. She sincerely loves working with students of all ages and teachers as it is interesting, rewarding, challenging and enjoyable experience at the same time. In her free time Milena enjoys reading, painting, hiking and spending time with her family.
