Lindon Thompson (Dip Photography, BA Visual Arts, MA Creative Arts, Grad Dip Education) has traveled widely and enjoys experiencing new cultures, people and places. Originally from Australia, he is looking forward to joining KIS after four years as an Art teacher and Head of Faculty in Surabaya, Indonesia. Previously Lindon has taught Art, Media, Photography and ICT in schools in Western Australia. Former careers include photographer in the advertising industry and video editor in television broadcasting, both in Australia and the UK. 

In his spare time Lindon enjoys painting and photography, as well as playing the clarinet and saxophone. He has played in amateur orchestras and many chamber ensembles. He is proficient in painting; drawing; wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics; print-making, and photography (film and digital), and related software such as PhotoShop, Lightroom, iMovie. Co-curricular activities Lindon offers include art, photography, video production and ICT.
