Leigh is originally from sunny Queensland, Australia. She has spent the last 15 years teaching in Asia and Europe as an IB music teacher after spending 10 years teaching in Australia. Leigh earned her Bachelor of Teaching from Griffith University and has recently completed her Masters in Educational International Leadership and Change from the Education University of Hong Kong. In previous schools, she has helped lead the Duke of Edinburgh Program, week without walls, as well as directed and produced many musicals.

In her spare time she likes to pursue outdoor activities. She also enjoys photography, travel and baking. Her speciality is chocolate chip cookies. Student agency is a passion for hers and she likes to allow students to have a strong input into their learning. Learning is a two way street.
