Gulzat was born and raised in a beautiful country called Kyrgyzstan. She moved with her family to Dubai, where she received her teaching diploma from Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education (CACHE) and worked with young children in a nursery setting for almost four years. Working in a setting where education begins has allowed her to gain insight and understanding of how children learn best. As a teacher, she prides herself on using pedagogies based on student-centered and constructivist approaches.

Not long after, Gulzat got her PGCE from Nottingham University, London and moved to one of the Primary schools in Dubai, where she worked as a Reception and Year 1 teacher. Working in a multicultural community gave her a greater understanding of how to incorporate culture, traditions, and language into her teaching practice. Gulzat gained valuable experience working closely with SEN students to support their needs. As a result, she has developed highly effective teaching techniques and instructional methods that have allowed her to educate learners and foster a fun, engaging, and positive learning environment.

Gulzat now has got almost nine years of teaching experience, three of which has been in KIS. She strongly believes in personalized education where children learn through their interests, choice and at their own pace.
