KIS recognizes that a balanced curriculum extends beyond classroom lessons. We run after-school activities on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons to allow children to explore there interests and develop capabilities in a broad range of areas. Recent after-school activities have included:
- Languages – reading in Russian, drama in Russian, German for beginners and advanced, reading in Kazakh, drama in Kazakh, French for beginners, reading in English, Uno in German, story hour.
- Sports – football, karate, skiing, ice skating, ping pong, outdoor games, running, basketball, fitness, chess.
- Creativity – school band, dance, drama, story-telling, drums, coding, cartoon drawing, origami, crafts with sequins, Lego club, paper doll making, collage, card making, recycled crafts, wood crafts, robot drawing, painting with acrylics, beading, loom bracelets, cross stitch, papier mache, play dough.
- Social learning – backgammon, checkers and nardi, chess, dominos, Uno.
