Set within Edelweiss Ashel Residence, a gated community, the KIS Edelweiss Montessori Campus, is located above Al Farabi, at the south end of Zhamenka Street, right next door to Almaty’s growing financial district.

The KIS Edelweiss Montessori classrooms provide a stimulating environment for young children—bright and open with designated work areas strategically set throughout that display materials available on accessible shelves—everything child-sized. The environment is filled with plants, animals, art, music, and books.
When you enter a Montessori classroom, you will encounter a very structured and controlled learning environment. Each piece of equipment has a specific purpose for concrete and abstract learning. There is a buzz of activity as children are working in different sections. Some may be working in the language section. Other may be engaged in math activities, or others could be involved in cultural subjects. But whatever you see there is a hype of activity.
