KIS is committed to providing the highest quality academic program and that extends to all our single subject classes as well. Our single subject teachers work collaboratively with each of our classroom teachers to provide continuity with all each child is learning within their Units of Inquiry. The teachers meet weekly for collaborative planning and discussion of ways to provide support for the unit from a variety of subjects. Single subject teachers also meet on a monthly basis with each classroom teacher to discuss the progress and any concerns of each student in that classroom—this is to ensure that every student receives the best academic experience and that teachers work together to help each student achieve his/her goals.
